Senior Associate Solicitor

Anna heads up the firm’s Defendant Personal Injury Unit, covering all areas to include Employers’ Liability, Public Liability, road traffic accidents involving large utility vehicles, and emergency vehicles.

She also deals with industrial disease work and has specialist knowledge in defending Health and Safety prosecutions brought by local authorities against businesses/employers.

In addition she has extensive experience in dealing with claims for clinical negligence.

Skills & Expertise

Anna’s emphasis is on serious injuries and prior to dealing with defendant personal injury work, she acted for claimants, in particular several victims of the Watford Train crash. She is able to advise on all aspects of personal injury litigation.

In addition to dealing with defendant personal injury work Anna is also a member of the firm’s Pharmacy and Healthcare Regulation Team. She has experience in acting for pharmacists in disciplinary matters, and pharmacists and pharmacies defending claims made by members of the public for damages for alleged mis-dispensation of medication and all types of accident claims.

Anna prepares and presents seminars to insurer clients and their agents to ensure that they are kept up to date with recent developments in the law and practice and to assist their ongoing professional development requirements.

Background & Qualifications

Anna qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in l990 and as a Solicitor in l997.  She joined Debenhams Ottaway in 2002. Her hobbies include animal welfare, walking and reading.
