Richard qualified as a solicitor in 1996. A member of Resolution, he is a solicitor in the family department having joined Turner & Debenhams in 2000. Over the years Richard has chosen to develop his expertise in the law of contested trusts and probate, matrimonial law and disputes between joint owners of property. He recently contested a corss-border probate matter in the High Court, Perdoni & Anor v Curati.
Richard handles a wide range of family cases which include divorce and separation, finance (including for unmarried and married couples and civil partners), and children.
Richard is a qualified Collaborative Lawyer and is able to deal with Matrimonial and Family Law cases on a collaborative basis.
Richard is active within Hertfordshire Resolution, sitting on its executive. He also actively participates in Hertfordshire Collaborative Family Law Group.
Richard is married and the father of 2 young boys and when time permits he is a keen genealogist, gardener and cook. He is a Foundation Governor of a senior school with responsibility for the curriculum committee and child protection issues.
