DO I need a Lasting Power of Attorney?

Our team can assist you to prepare and register your Lasting Powers of Attorney, so that your wishes are properly recorded.

Lasting Powers of Attorney allow you to appoint people to act on your behalf in case you cannot manage certain decisions and responsibilities in your lifetime.

One type of Lasting Power of Attorney covers Property and Financial Affairs. The second type is for Health and Welfare. Lasting Powers of Attorney must be registered with the Office of the Public Guardian before they can be used.

Lasting Powers of Attorney are relevant to all adults. They have become increasingly important as the risk of mental incapacity grows through a combination of illness, accident or just old age.
