Often the core value in a Recruitment Sector business is its staff, its client list and its confidential information. It is critical, therefore, to ensure that these assets are protected from solicitation and theft. We advise Recruitment Sector clients on appropriate systems, procedures and policies so as to best protect the value of their business whilst adhering to employment law. This often involves ensuring employees have suitable restrictive covenants that are enforceable.

Where an ex-employee breaches his or her restrictive covenants or steals data it is important to act swiftly to prevent further damage. This often involves obtaining interim injunctions to prevent immediate damage pending trial. Such proceedings are complicated where the ex-employee has brought tribunal proceedings, even if they are without merit, but our team has experience of handling such proceedings in tandem.
