We work closely with claims managers and underwriters to assist them with making decisions on coverage issues such as material non-disclosures, misrepresentations, interpretations of policy wording and condition precedents, breaches of policies, exclusion clauses, waiver/affirmation and estoppel.

Our experience includes advising insurers following catastrophic loss occasioned by, amongst other things, fire and flood, subsidence, burglaries and third party claims. We employ a range of tactics to resolve disputes including Alternative Dispute Resolution and where necessary through litigation.

When an insured complains to the Financial Services Ombudsman we advise on the complaint, prepare a response and where necessary consider Judicial Review of an adverse decision.
